We Care Academy’s The Possible Me (TPM) tutoring program promotes that with readily available guidance and a strong education foundation anything is possible and achievable. Through our TPM programs it is our mission to reach out to young minds from kindergarten through 8th to help guide and enhance each students learning capabilities in subject areas including but not limited to reading, mathematics, science, and history. In addition TPM features a wide range of teaching methods to support critical thinking and academic support for students who struggle in different subject areas and may be lacking in essential study skills and a basic knowledge base will go through a transformation process with the help of our exceptionally trained tutoring staff to meet each individual’s need and learning styles. It is clear that everyone adapts to learning differently and our innovative curriculum is designed to cater to that very need by meeting each student where they are academically and relating activities that the student enjoys we will tie in the areas of their classroom subjects that needs improvement. The result will be an improvement in grades, academic self-confidence, and a greater ability to comprehend more advanced concepts.

Kids Are Kids

KAK provides a one on one environment between the tutor and the student. Tutors are able to get to know the student on a personal level. Tutors will learn their likes and dislikes along with the student’s strengths and weaknesses. With this knowledge, Tutors will tie in the child’s interest into the lesson in the given subject area. This curriculum requires each tutor to base their lesson plan on the individual need of the student and alter the instruction and activities to improve comprehension. The individual attention to details and personalized lesson plans are geared to result in higher self-esteem, improved academic grade performance, and a greater appreciation for learning. It is our goal that this curriculum stimulates a more self-regulating teaching experience.

Our Little Circle

OLC provides a group setting that promotes a traditionalist tutoring environment i.e. the classroom setting in which children can learn a subject with or even from their peers. It is our goal through this group based curriculum that students have fun, socialize, collaborate, and engage in other children’s interests to create a lesson plan that will result in the academic enhancement and improvement of grades. OLC is designed for students who are strong in certain subjects to assist and enhance the learning experience of their peers and vice versa.

My Friends and I

MFI provides a larger peer group setting that promotes a traditionalist tutoring environment i.e. similar to what students are accustom to in the classroom. Learning with or even from their peers is a fixture of the curriculum. It is our goal through this group based curriculum that students have fun, socialize, collaborate, and engage in other child’s interests to create a lesson plan that will result in the academic enhancement and improvement of grades. The curriculum is designed to promote positive social skills, group based reading, and a more collective method of finding answers to complicated concepts. MFI provides more a subject based support by focusing on one to two core subjects each session.

Teachers Partnership Coalition | Additional Service (ADS)

TPC is a partnership between our tutors, parents, and teachers to ensure the academic success of the student(s). We Care tutors will be in continuous communication with the teachers and parents to make certain that all parties involved are on the same page for our tutors to most effectively administer instruction to the students needs. We Care strongly believes that this partnership will create a lasting and positive impression on each young mind, build confidence in students, and ultimately aid students in reaching their goals throughout their academic career.
