Annual Wine Tasting | We Care Academy

We Care would like to thank all those who attended our Charity Wine Tasting January 26, 2011. During the course of the evening our Directors and representatives had the opportunity to meet some truly amazing individuals. We also would like to say a very special thanks to the Marietta Wine Market for hosting this event.

Marietta Wine Market has more than 250 different wines from around the world. About half are “boutique” wines from smaller vineyards, as well as wines from local North Georgia Vineyards. We emphasize affordable, good value wines with most in the price range of $10 to $35 per bottle. “This is not a wine museum, we want you to be able to buy them and enjoy them.”

Atlanta, Georgia. (WCAYD) We Care Academy will be hosting a charity wine tasting January 26, 2011 at The Marietta Wine Market on 18 Powder Springs Street Marietta, GA 30064 between 5:00pm and 7:00pm. The fundraiser is for program development, community outreach, art and school supplies for low income and title I schools in Metro Atlanta

During our tasting patrons will have the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing evening and engage directly with We Care Academy’s representatives and directors. Artwork from our Art Auction will be displayed and patrons will have the privilege of viewing several pieces in person before the auction. We Care Academy is a nonprofit organization that focuses on youth development, education, community, and childcare. We are eager to introduce our new and innovative learning experience to the institution of education and childcare.

By the end of the evening We Care Academy generated over $150.00 in simple donations. This generous amount will provide students and schools registered in our Keep Arts Alive program with the following supplies:
